So about that tumor. My shoulder has been hurting for months, maybe a year. Anyway, I finally got tired of it and decided to go to a Dr. to see what was wrong. After several x-rays, it was determined that one leg was longer than the other, causing a curved spine, and stressed shoulder muscles. Fine, so she has be wearing a lift in my shoe to help. Then when we were in WR, I went to get a massage. Then Ms. Blackwell says, do you know you have this tumor on your shoulder? What the**? So this was why that knot in my shoulder would not go away. Long story short, I had the little guy cut out on Friday. It was about the size of a large walnut, just a fatty tumor that was pressing against my muscle and had begun to penetrate the muscle. I'm hoping that my little buddy is now gone, so will the muscle pain.

Pink Poodle Party and a little tumor
After we returned from Arkansas, we had a birthday party to attend back in FW. A little girl in Hadley's class at school (& church) just turned 3. I just happened to still have my camera in my purse so I got some cute pictures. The theme was a pink poodles. The Mom and Grandma had made cute little poodle ears for all the girls. It was too cute!

I just had to get a picture of these cupcakes. The mom made them!

Partying with the Forrester bunch
While we were in Arkansas, we spend a little time in Lawrence County. We celebrated Taylor & Jackson's birthdays. Hadley really enjoyed Taylor's new set of wheels. She has informed Nana & Pop Pop that she too would like a red mustang when she turns three. I know, they are 3 going on 16.

TCU Baseball
A few Sundays ago, we went to see our first TCU baseball game. It was family day at the park so we caught us a few $1 hotdogs for lunch after church. Being new to this area, we were not accustomed to the really warm weather for a baseball game in early March. We wore jeans and took jackets. Yeah, that was a mistake. We needed shorts, flip-flops, and sunscreen. Yeah, we all got a little too much sun (especially me). We only stayed for a few innings; it was too hot (and it was nap time).

Imagination Movers
One of Hadley's favorite TV shows is the Imagination Movers. For those of you that are not familiar with them, the are four guys from New Orleans who sing, dance, and solve problems. Pretty fun show. Anyway, I saw that they were coming to town and knew that Hadley would love to see them. They were playing at Bass Hall, on of the world's finest opera houses. I've been wanting to go to Bass Hall to see a show, so this fulfilled my request before we leave Ft. Worth. So here are some pictures from our girls day rocking with the Movers!

Yes, this is Hadley during the show. Towards the end, I guess she needed to write something down. She got in my purse and grabbed her notepad and pen. I love the next photo. She was still watching the show, while she was writing. She wasn't missing anything, just multitasking.

After the show, I asked Hadley what she thought. She said it was fun and loud, then she seemed a little sad. Apparently, she thought that the Movers were coming to town to play with her. I guess I didn't make it clear that we were going to see them perform, and not hang out and play. All in all, she had a blast. Seeing her smiling, clapping, and dancing was priceless for me.

Here is the show getting started. I must warn you, it is a little loud, so turn down your speakers.

Catching up on pictures
Here are some random pictures taken throughout the end of February and today. Today after school, I took Hadley to get her hair cut. Although her hair was getting quite long, she would not let me put it up. So it was looking a little straggly.
So we got it cut short today. It already seems thicker. Take a look. I also think it makes her look a little older, not exactly what I was going for.
Here are some pictures from Valentine's Day. Actually they were taken a few days after. We were gone to Auburn the week of V-day, so she missed her school party. The next Tuesday she had a cubbie full of special treats, including this Texas-size sucker.

Time Flies When You Are Having Fun!
Well, today is mine and Brent's 9th Anniversary. So I thought I would take a little walk down memory lane. Brent & I met while we were in college. He was a silly baseball player and I was a sweet little Phi Mu girl. Back then,I thought he was a bit of an arrogant horse's behind, so I was certainly not interested. Plus he dated two of my best friends. Then during the spring semester of his senior year (my junior), we had two classes together, Anthropology 101 and the History of American Economics. It was then that I began to get to know Brent. We worked on this big class project together as we were preparing for a debate in our Economics course. Brent sat in the corner and seemed to be paying no attention to our team's conversation, yet he had volunteered to be our main debater. Oh man, this guy is going to really mess up my grade in this class! When it was his turn to take the floor, I was dumbfounded. He was prepared, articulate, and delivered a very intelligent defense. Who was this guy? Okay, so maybe I needed to get to know this guy just a little better. He seemed to have more depth than I had previously given him credit. After that we did talk, hang out, study together and I began to have a real respect for him. Then he graduated and went off to law school. He was a sharp guy and I knew he would succeed. It was nice getting to know him.Fast forward 5 months- I heard from a friend's little sister that he was dropping out of law school. What?!@ For some random reason, and so unlike me, I just looked up his number and called him to see if this was true. So this is how and when our story started. We would just talk on the phone, nothing romantic, just like old friends. Later he did leave law school, moved back to Batesville, and we started dating. Within months, I knew he was "the one". We were sitting at US Pizza in Newport and I remember looking across the table and thinking, "I'm going to be sitting across the table having dinner with him. . . as long as we both shall live."
In September of 1999 he proposed and we set the date for March 4, 2000. Over the last 9 years we have grown sooo much. I know we were happy and in love when we got married, but that love and happiness has just continued to grow and mature. Look at those two silly kids!
They had no idea where God would take them and how He would use them. Dr. Brent Williams, really? Fayetteville; Fort Worth, Texas; Auburn, Alabama; what? It has been a fun and exciting journey and I'm proud that I'm living it with my best friend, Brent.
